Nishta Patil is just another Indian teen who is in the eleventh year of her schooling. Her life was never a sweet ride and - well - she wasn't the perfect child but she came damn close. With good grades and a sweet demeanour she was the perfect Miss Goody Two Shoes. Or that's what anyone on the outside usually concurred. Crushing on guys were a common thing and she hated it. The thing was no guy would ever fall for her. Especially when she was surrounded by her friends who were gorgeous and outgoing and crazy. That's why she forces herself not to feel anything more than a crush. But of course life's not that simple.So what do you think happens when she starts feeling something more than a crush for this one boy who turns her life upside down? Is she... falling in love? Something tells her that he probably feels the same way too. But life is never simple is it? **Inspired by "The Basketball Diaries."** Luke Brooks loved everything about being in the Janoskians, that is, except for the haters. And when all the negativity gets to be too much for him, one night, Luke decides to let loose with some of his friends in an effort to relax. Little did he know, one innocent night of teenage fun would only be the beginning of his long, dark journey down the road to becoming a full-fledged drug addict.

This is a true story. I have written this article for a school project several years after the incident happened. Just recently, I found this as I was going through my old stuff and decided to share it. I have changed the names to protect the people involved. Even if this is an old story, the issues that teens face nowadays are still the same. The info that I shared at the latter part of this article may have changed over the years and the statistics might be higher to date. Dicota Reece a innocent person not only on the inside but exspressed on the outside. With straight complex hair and a justified sweet smile it is suprising she hasnt come into contact with a sane human being for over two years. her loneliness does anything but bother her, for she likes the thought of innocents and succeeding and having control of her golden path way to success. But what if her control washes away the moment pure pressure from society gets to her.
