Every teenager has a passion. However, stress and anxiety are killing our children's passion for being creative. Teenagers often hear, "What do you mean you are stressed? You do not have anything to stress about." However, that is not true. Teenagers are under a lot of stress because of the hurdles they have to jump over. Sadly, our teens do not have the strength to jump a tad bit higher; because they are carrying more than they can mentally handle. This journal is a check-in checklist that will help teens balance their daily lives and help break the cycle and allow teenagers to freely write down and speak about their emotions. Our teenager's emotional health is essential and should be taken seriously.

"You are beautiful" I said to myself as tears fell from my eyes while I starred at my full length mirror. Lies. How can I be beautiful? There's no beauty in the rolls that has formed in my body, the stretch marks that are seen on my skin, the gut that hangs over, or the excess fat on my arms that hangs. Nope. Nothing at all. Who am I kidding? I ain't nothing but an ugly fat girl.

There are many emotions and feelings in the world. Happiness, depression, excitement, anger, despair, loneliness, confusion, fear, hurt, helplessness, indifference, etc. This is simply meant to become a collection of those various feelings. (NOTE: I am awful at poetry, but sometimes I think it'd be great if I could learn to express feelings or stories in a different way than how I normally do. They could be sad like my first chapter, hopefully there'll be some happy chapters, I don't know, it's just something I'm trying)
