Macy is a confident, self-assured, and outspoken young woman. For 18 years, she has lived with her strict and overly protective religious parents. As she enters college, she is finding a new sense of freedom, new love, new peers, and new desires. Her child's father is one of the most famous rappers of their generation. Although he has given her a huge sum of money, she still is independent and focused on creating her own path in life by trying to become a lawyer while modeling on the side. Along her path, Macy is laced with a drug while smoking weed at the biggest annual rap bash of the year. This puts her in a coma for several months leaving her unresponsive and her child motherless. Her family sets out to find who did this to her.

Stephanie decides to graduate happily. But then that happiness was a crime-what her parents teach against. Her best friend Nadine tried to advice her but she ended up being an enemy. Her big sister Elsie also tried all she could but it's like Stephanie's mind was made up. She followed the bad company and ended up making a huge mistake which she can't correct. All she could do was to cry and leave with the regret and pain forever. Her family was disappointed in her because they don't expect her to mess up that huge. People who believe in her now detested her and refrained from using her as role model for their kids.

The first of anything, is groundbreaking. A new idea is so exciting to share, so why is acting on it so different? We find fear in action, but not in thought. We get stopped by people around us, adding contamination to our thoughts which stand stronger than our own. But Why?
