Now with all her trauma from the games, she's a mentor who has to help the tributes get through the games. After meeting Katniss and Peeta she knew things were going to be different. With the help from Cinna, Effie, Haymitch, and Finnick, this is how Esmeralda gets through everything while trying to help them. This is a EVERLARK fan fiction of how I see the two star cross lover coming back together. This story begins when Peeta returns to District 12(so before epilogue but after Mockingjay). Katniss is trying to deal with all her losses and is trying to move past them best she can, while Peeta is still trying to manage his episodes from the hijacking. (Has a similar reunion to the Mockingjay Part 2's) Will Peeta and Katniss ever return to each other? Can Peeta get past his nightmares and episodes, and find the love he's always had for Katniss? Will Peeta help Katniss deal with her survivor guilt or possibly make it worse? Will Katniss ever find the words to explain her feelings or will her fears shut her down? Again this is how I would see Katniss's and Peeta's future. I've read a lot of other stories and they helped me picture my own opinion :)
