His eyebrows raise at that, he'd heard of her family. God, practically everyone in Panem had heard of her family. Because every time a Blessing child had volunteered for the Hunger Games, they didn't just win - they entertained.

Lily Everdeen is twin sister to Katniss Everdeen and older sister to Primrose Everdeen. She has lived in District 12 her whole life. Ever since her father died in a mine explosion, her and Katniss pretty much carried the whole family with the food they hunted in the woods. My heart pounds as I race toward the frothing, bloodstained water. I have to get away. I hear pounding footsteps behind me, but I don't dare look back. I just keep running towards the beach. Someone darts in front of me and splashes into the water. I stumble, tripping over my feet to stop my momentum so I don't run them over. They fall, and something I can't see drags them away. Thick, sticky blood splatters onto my face and arms. There's monsters in the water. There's monsters everywhere. This is a Hunger Games Fanfic with Katniss as a mentor. It will all be explained at the start of the book, in the Author's Note.
