This is a EVERLARK fan fiction of how I see the two star cross lover coming back together. This story begins when Peeta returns to District 12(so before epilogue but after Mockingjay). Katniss is trying to deal with all her losses and is trying to move past them best she can, while Peeta is still trying to manage his episodes from the hijacking. (Has a similar reunion to the Mockingjay Part 2's) Will Peeta and Katniss ever return to each other? Can Peeta get past his nightmares and episodes, and find the love he's always had for Katniss? Will Peeta help Katniss deal with her survivor guilt or possibly make it worse? Will Katniss ever find the words to explain her feelings or will her fears shut her down? Again this is how I would see Katniss's and Peeta's future. I've read a lot of other stories and they helped me picture my own opinion :)

Since the games began 74 Years ago y/n's family has suffered because of it. The Ryder family was a family of tributes. On the year a female from the Ryder family would turn 18 they would get reaped. The Ryder family wasn't just good for the games. Just when you would think their legacy was over there was always another baby girl destined to die. This was the case for y/n Abernathy. When The rebellion is over, trauma isnt gone. They yearn for a simple life, but their ghosts and phantoms of the past won't let them have that.

What if Peeta and Katniss never had to go back in to the arena? What if the third quarter quell was different? This is the story of the 75th Hunger Games but with a twist. Katniss and Peeta were never made to go back in the arena. Instead it was like every other quarter quell. Will they still be friends with Finnick? Will they succeed in their role of mentors?
