This story is just my take on a normal game play I have whenever I play Stardew Valley. I really love the game and I decided that this would make a good story to start honing my writing skills!

The future no longer looks bright for 24 year old [F/N] [L/N]. Between her loneliness and the lifeless 9-5 she works, she doesn't feel much joy or hope for anything lately. After tragedy nearly takes her from the world, she opens a letter that her grandpa wrote for her many years ago. With that, she's provided a new opportunity. A good change, for once. Little does she know, she's going to meet a man who will completely throw her life off the rails- in the best way ever. Cover art and any art used within this fanfiction is not mine. In the predictable rhythms of Stardew Valley, nothing has been new for years. That is, until a new short and sweet farmer arrives in Pelican Town, causing a stir of excitement among everyone. As she begins to settle into her new life, she crosses paths with Harvey, the town's reserved and unassuming doctor. Before they know it, an undeniable and secret spark ignites between them, hinting at a deeper connection that neither can fully understand or express. What mysteries lie beneath their seemingly ordinary lives, and how will their hidden attraction shape their possibly intertwined futures? As the seasons change, "Sweet As Cherry Wine" promises to unravel a tale of unexpected romance and hidden depths in the heart of Stardew Valley.

Hey!! I've published a new book! This one sucks so please go check out the other one :D *** Ciara, who has lived her whole life in a city, moves to her grandfather's old farm. She has to learn completely new skills, and meet and befriend the townspeople. She somehow manages to get some new friends, few 'enemies' and maybe - just maybe - even manages to fall for someone. But who would actually love someone like her? // I do not own any of the characters that live in the Pelican town (Except the main character) // The start is/can be pretty boring. This is just a first draft, and really rough one. And that yellowish thing on the character's head on the cover. Yeah.. That's at least supposed to be a hat.

After moving to Pelican Town to escape your corporate job and urban lifestyle, you end up with a nasty injury which forces you to the doctors office where you meet the charming but mysterious Dr. Harvey. Will romance blossom between the both of you, or will you fall at the first hurdle?

Maybelle is stuck in her life in the city of Zuzu. She hates her job and craves for more freedom. Of something else that life has to offer. When she finally gets the courage to open the letter her grandfather had given her before his passing, her life changes and will never be the same again. Net, leader and owner of the farm, is married to Maru. His annoying little cousin, Boggle, is rooming with Krobus. It's Mayor Lewis' birthday BBQ, and Boggle wants Krobus to go with her. He is nervous, but luckily, the Bog Buds Family is huge. There's Alex, Snorlax891, Elliot, Penny, and three little ones. Krobus has more than enough emergency backup for any occasion!

sam is nothing but if not a lover. OR the farmer's life is difficult and shit. sam makes it his mission to make things just a bit easier.

Adelaide Greentill has been working for Joja Mart Corporation for about 4 years now. Failure to be given a promotion after such a long time and a manager that taunts her brings her to her last nerve. Letter of her Grandpa's passing and news of being left the deed to the farm led her to quit her job and move to Pelican Town. She meets the town doctor and sparks start flying. Pelican Town is a harmonious and peaceful town, indeed, too peaceful that sometimes it feels like calm before a storm. Except that the storm arrives in a form of a new girl coming from the city to claim a deserted piece of land her grandfather passed to her before dying in a creaking bed. It seemed normal before each townspeople realize that the new girl is a weird, funky, magical person who weirdly enough, seem to be everywhere, anytime of the day. Before anyone properly digests what kind of being the girl is, she has went around collecting secrets and revealing dark side of each townspeople. Indeed, she is a nightmare dressed like a daydream.

It my bf (sadly not irl) from Stardew Valley SAM!!! He doesn't get enough appreciation in my opinion, so here we are!! When Y/N moves into Pelican Town for a fresh start, they are first greeted by a certain blonde boy who crashes into them on his skateboard. After some time, they slowly get past grudges and eventually, fall in love. These characters are not mine, they are all owned by ConcernedApe

Sebastian had always smelled like vanilla. Y/n, Sebastian's childhood friend, wanted to know if he tasted like it too.

When your grandfather died, leaving you by yourself, he left you his entire farm in a tiny city in Pelican Town. As you try and figure out the beginnings of farming, you also encounter many other citizens in the city, some to be friends with, some to love, and some to fight.

Uniformity. That's what Joja demanded of their employees and that's what was slowly eating away at Mey and Isa. Trapped in a 9-5 desk job for over five years they had little hope for their future until an opportunity like no others lands in their lap. A farm, left to them by the man they had come to consider their grandfather before his unfortunate passing. Unable to pass up the opportunity despite the many risks associated they set off for Pelican Town, for a farm they don't know how to manage, a house they have never seen before, in a town filled with people they don't know. It will be hard work, but the possibility of friendship, love, happiness and a simple life is worth it.

This story is somewhat based off of my farmer "Willow", when they moved into Stardew Valley with their mother, and younger brother ("M" (mom) and "B" (bro)). They (Willow) wanted to move out of the city to get away from them, but... They didn't have much of a say when it came to them (The family) coming along... They wanted to get out of the city as well, and their grandfather's letter was the only way to do it at the time... (Do I always just take whatever stories I happen to have in my head and dump them into Google Docs? YES! Is this why my stories usually seem to make no sense? Double YES!) (WARNING! Slight mentions of blood in chapter 4.) (There's a lot of POV changes in this story.) (A little info about farmer Willow: They have selective mutism and social anxiety, and they're only able to talk to people if they know 100% that they can trust them. This is why they can usually only be seen talking to their mom and brother. they're not very fond of them sometimes, but they're able to let their guard down around them... Most of the time.) (There's not really much to be said about M and B. They're just kinda... There.) (The story kinda 'slowly' starts to become Seb x Farmer as it goes along... So, that's a thing.) (Edit: It is VERY... You begin attempting to turn this once beautiful rural town to its former state. But soon enough, find yourself getting closer and closer with the man who caused this mess.
