New airbenders began appearing throughout the Earth Kingdom, and with them came the hope of rebuilding a nation that had been believed extinct for nearly a century. But finding every one of them will be much harder than it seems. To support the Avatar in this mission, the United Nations assigns a military squad to accompany Team Avatar on their journey. Among soldiers, doctors, old friends, and new allies, they will all have to learn to work together as they travel through a world that is still trying to find its balance. What seemed like a simple search will soon become something much greater. Old enemies will begin moving in the shadows once again, secrets that have been buried for years will come to light, and more than one life will be changed forever. Because while the world tries to rebuild a lost nation, some will also find people who will change their lives forever.
