After the marriage of Elizabeth and Mr Darcy the world still fights against them. Both must face the pressures of a new life together while dealing with old and new troubles. *This story takes notes of pieces from both the book as well as the 2005 movie and the 1995 tv series. It starts after Mr Darcy's proposal from the movie.* *I do not own these characters, they all derive from the Jane Austen novel unless they are household staff written by myself.*

Pride and Prejudice story. A different version of the story from Darcy's perspective. Some plot lines relate to the original story but most of it is a different story. ~~~~ When FitzWilliam Darcy and his sister gain their inheritance, their lives change as they now have many responsibilities and challenges to come. Within a matter of a day, they become the richest people in the land. To most it seems a life of luxury, but Mr. Darcy knows that with riches, comes responsibility. The pressure of this new life begins to reach a breaking point. Things couldn't get more complicated as odd and troubling things happen around the Pemberely estate. Darcy is quick to realise one thing is for sure: Someone wanted his inheritance and was going to do anything to get it.

"It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single woman in ownership of her life must be in want of a husband. However little known the feelings or views of such a woman may be on her first entering into a relationship." Not true for London dweller Amanda Price. Instead of finding the man of her dreams, she can think of nothing better than reading Pride and Prejudice daily after coming home from her dead-end job. But, she gets lost in her favorite novel when her mirror becomes a portal and sucks her into a parallel universe where she is Elizabeth Bennet!
