Your breath hitched as you turned around to face the figure, your wings tucking into your neck in an attempt to hide. There stood him, a look of pain and curiosity stretched across his face as he observed you carefully. "Where are you going, is something wrong?" A lump built up in your throat as you turned to face away, his grip tightening slightly. "I can fix whatever troubles you, just please... please don't leave." His voice was weak as he begged you to stay, and a part of you wished you had. But in the end, you pulled away and boarded a journey that would take you across the cosmos. Away from your old life, and the harsh realities you had to live with.
