Three years after Simon Snow defeats the Inaidious Humdrum, his life is finally settling to normal. He's moved in with Baz, he's doing okay at university, and Penny is still helping him through homework. Life couldn't be better, right? When an amazing discovery sends Simon, Baz, and Penelope on a new adventure, they must enlist in the help of a few friends, and discover what the world hid from them. -- hey so this story was finished on 26 march 2016, but was never uploaded in full it's been almost a year, and i haven't edited it since then, but i'm uploading it anyway it isn't the best writing, but hey, everyone starts somewhere i no longer use wattled, but as it was my middle school ~experience~ i'm putting this up i will not be responding to comments or looking at this for a bit sorry

Christmas Break is over and all the students are returning to Watford to continue the school year. For Simon and Baz, this break has changed their whole lives. For one, they're dating and not fighting. They're beginning to open up to the other and figure themselves out. But what happens when the Mage finds out that his precious heir is snogging his enemy? To what lengths will he go to, to keep the two apart? These characters and locations are not mine, they are the amazing creation of Rainbow Rowell.

This will take place after the end of Carry On, and we will pretend like Wayward Son was not a thing. Simon has moved in with Penny, and he is depressed about not having magic anymore and also killing The Mage and also because he has wings and a tail. Baz and Penny are both going to the same university, but Simon just sits on the couch all day. Agatha doesn't exist because nobody cares about her anyway. Baz wants to help Simon with his depression, so they go to the animal shelter to find a pet for him. He finds a fat old weiner dog named Randy. His owner passed away and Randy is depressed just like Simon, so they are perfect for each other. This is just a short fic with lots of fluff which takes place over the course of one day.

Baz dropped his head onto the edge of Simon's bed, next to Simon's limp hand. "I'd take all of your stupidity if it meant I could have you back." ~ Or, when Goblins put Simon in a coma, Baz isn't sure what he's supposed to do with himself. He settles for never leaving Simon's side.

So this is where I'm posting the fanfic I will be writing for Carry On Countdown Christmas 2017. I love this fandom and in the spirit of the fact that Carry On is a story based off of a fictional fanfiction, I wanted to come back to fanfiction and write here.

ok so basically this is an au where simon was the one kidnapped by numpties instead of baz.

For all Simon Snow fans that want a little bit extra before we get that third book. I hope that you like what my way of settling it, even if it's not as good as Rainbow's. (No way is as good as Rainbow's, she is the all mighty and they all came from her heart her ending is the only real ending.) But either way, I hope you enjoy mine! With Watford in trouble, it's only a matter of time before Simon, Baz, Penelope, Agatha and now Shepard get themselves mixed up in something else. Something in the UK is after Simon (no surprise there), but whatever it is might just be powerful enough to take out an entire town. Not only do they have to deal with that thing, but they now have to do it while following the rules of the Coven. If you had broken every single rule and put your whole way of life at risk, you'd be forced to follow the rules now too.
