Jeweled eyes, filled with serenity, appreciated the beauty of the morning glory. Ipomoea purpurea. "Aren't you lonely too?" she asked. But, the enchanting flower did not answer. It just tilted its head along the currents of the smooth wind. . . . She knew she was hoping too much. Asking a lone plant about its loneliness. She slowly ran her hands through her tangled hair. Gradually bringing it to her face. Caressing it. The fair and smooth skin, just like the petals of the blue flower. It was simply a pity. A pity about what? She, herself, wasn't aware. And, soon she was pulled out of her trance. A knock at the door. And some shuffling just outside it. One last longing look at the flower and the enchanting fairy turned to continue her extremely bereft life. It was lonely, yes. But, lovely too.
