It is 2007, Boondocks has made it big. Daisy and Penelopi are cute and adorable babies. Karen and Jimi have been married for about a year and they are pretty happy with the way things are in their life, but kids are always a thought deep down between the both of them even if they both agree now isn't the time. Over the course of a few months the thoughts of kids are changing when they unexpectedly come across a sweet little girl with long brown hair and blue eyes named Emma. Emma is 10 years old, but has had to grow up very fast. She has been in too many foster homes to count. Her current home consists of an abusive alcoholic foster father and a scared to death foster mother. Emma spends as much time away from home as she can. After a strange turn of events, she finds out what real, loving parents are. Stay tuned to see how things pan out for Emma and the members of the band! This is the first of two books. In my book "Finding Emma" you learned that in 2007, a 10 year old little girl named Emma, was in an abusive foster home in Nashville Tennessee. One Friday night she got out of the house and went to see one of her favorite singers, Martina McBride. She didn't have any money so she found a way passed security and managed to sneak into the arena. While wandering around she was spotted by security and tried to run away. Around the corner, Jimi Westbrook, was running back to his tour bus before the show. He ran into Emma and sent her right into the wall. She cut her forehead open and Jimi and his wife Karen, who are members of the opening act Little Big Town, took her to the Emergency Room. The couple got to know Emma a little bit and offered her a place to stay for the weekend. What Emma didn't expect was to find people who love and care about her. There were lots of ups, downs, twists and turns along the road for the Westbrook family, which included adding another member to the family. Things are going great for the family of four, but what they don't realize is that there are life changing events in their future.
