Set several years in the future, Gumball and Penny are happily married. However, because they're still new to being adults, they tend to find themselves in a bit of trouble. Despite everything, they still somehow manage to make things work just fine in the end. (Yes I am aware it has poor execution thus far, I'm working on fixing that) *** There's probably going to be some swearing in it, but my plan is to not go any further than that. Feedback will be greatly appreciated to help me learn how to write better and to know what you like more. This is also my first story I'm publishing, and I have no schedule for new parts, they come out when I feel like publishing them, but I will try to keep you updated on progress.

Gumball Watterson is 16 years old, and he decided to make his summer unforgettable by accepting Darwins offer to go to Tobias beach house with the rest of the Elmore Junior High students, what he didn't know was that his crush, Penny Fitzgerald will be there. Penny asks Gumball if he would be okay with them going on a double date with Leslie and his new boyfriend, to which he quickly agrees. The moment he finds out who said boyfriend his, Gumball immediately regrets his decision.

An unidentified amount of time after Gumball Watterson encouraged Penny Fitzgerald to break out of her shell and be herself, a new threat has emerged from the world of infinite static with the intention of capturing the one fairy who exposed herself to the world. This sends the two of them on the run from not only Rob, but a new enemy like none the town has ever seen before (even by Elmore's standards). With the entirety of Elmore, and possibly the world, at stake, the two lovebirds are indirectly sent on a journey both physically and emotionally. Gumball is now introduced to the darker side of the fairy's emotions and her feelings about herself and her powers.
