You closely observe the people in time square from your penthouse, assuming things about some of the pedestrians, then potential danger catches your eye.

I find myself writing a lot of poems during quarantine. I can only hope that when you read them, you feel a little part of yourself in them. If you don't that's ok, try the next one. Let me know what you find reading these short poems. Everything is for your interpretation. People Watching... One of America's most favorite past times. You may not realize it, but you've done this before. You may be doing this right now as you're reading this. You may notice that while you're reading, there is a person, not that far away from where you are. And your mind wanders off, thinking about what their story is. That is because you are a reader. So sit back, relax, and read the stories that we come up with together. If you sighted a person, and you want it in the book, Private Message me and it will be in a future chapter. Some people describe love akin to touching the stars. I've only known it to leave a bitter taste in my mouth and a pain I saw coming from the start. "Then why do you read romance and fall in love with books? Why bring yourself that pain?" people ask me. I usually reply with a one off, random answer like "I need a good cry" or "it has a good plot". In reality I just don't want them to know that the joy and love I feel when reading a book is the only time I feel alive. That is, until him. He changed everything, some for worse and some for better. But I think he made me touch the stars.

A lot to notice, and a lot of discomfort!

"Does a book have to be laced with pages?" Anna thinks not. To her, stories live in the people around her. And as she observes the figures of people in a cafe, she starts to realize that everyone carries a story, even the one quietly waiting for her.
