It it said that we have soulmates that are designed from us from birth. That they will be the ones to ignite the flame inside us and bring us complete happiness. Whether the flame is a simple ember or a full roaring fire. We will know who it is as soon as our eyes meet. Most flames burn your average red or orange. For love and for discovery. Some burn pink for adoration and passion but my love isn't normal. My love only brings me heartache and pain no matter what. He was meant to be with me but we are not together. For higher forces forbade us from each other. And for that, my flame burns blue. For all the sorrow and pain that it brings. Sometimes you just need to follow your heart even though your brain is screaming at you not too. Even a girl who uses her brain to guide her, sometimes needs to bend the rules a bit for the better. But sometimes the rules can break you more than being denied want you want the most. Sometimes that flame isn't meant to be fanned to life or reality. I knew this yet I prevailed. Now I must face the consequences.
