Quills, quidditch, and Percy Weasley. These seem to be the only three things on Oliver Wood's mind lately. Quills - how many of them he's broken lately, working on his new job writing quidditch articles for the Daily Prophet Quidditch - how many days until he can play again, thanks to an injury due to a bludger Percy Weasley - how many butterflies are in his stomach every time he sees the redhead... and how hard he's trying to ignore them

A story told from mainly Oliver Woods perspective, in third person. Takes place in his and Percy's first year and will eventually continue to higher years. Canon compliant for as much as possible, but obviously it is a fanfic about Percy and Oliver and there isn't much about them. I try to post every Tuesday!

Percy turns 22 on August 22, 1998. It just so happens that the Quidditch World Cup falls on this day. It also just so happens that his boyfriend, Oliver Wood, has a special plan in the chance that if his team wins. - An impulse fanfiction because I'm growing to love this nerdy ginger, (as I grow to love all fictional nerds who deserved better) and I refuse to believe he was straight. Also, how tf did I write over 2k words? I have another Percy-centric thing in the works and I've barely gone past 1k words in a single chapter. This is like some really weird fanfiction gift to myself (bc I'm proud to admit me and percy share the same bday) , and i don't love it, but i enjoyed writing it. I avoided mentioning any ships besides Molly x Arthur and Bill x Fleur. Hermione and Harry are there, but let's just say for the sake of argument that they were visiting the Burrow for nostalgic reasons and got dragged along lol. Also, I have no idea why I tagged Fred because he's still dead. It should've been Umbridge, but oh well. Yeah, it doesn't follow canon, but it's fanfiction so who gives af, people are bound to be somewhat ooc, and the storyline is still plausible. Once again, all art credit goes to Pembroke on Tumblr, at least it should, I'm not entirely sure since I got it off Pinterest and it felt wrong to at least try and credit them. Also, as everyone knows, Harry Potter doesn't belong to me. At all. It belongs Warner Brothers and J.K.R.

Flatmates. That's what Oliver Wood and Percy Weasley are. Just flatmates. And if Oliver doesn't do something, that's all they'll ever be, at least until one of them moves out, because Percy certainly won't do anything. He's too exhausted and overrun with work all of the time to deal with his personal life to notice what's going on between them. So that leaves it to Oliver to catch Percy's attention and confess his feelings. Except, it's not as simple as that and it's certainly going to take more than Oliver may have to get the job done. (And they were roommates...)(oh my god they were roommates)

Ginny is Harry's girlfriend-- but she certainly doesn't want to be. Mistreated and cheated on. But Luna is always there, fight after fight. The two grow even closer together, and not just because Ron is trying to set them up. Maybe Linny-- although nobody would think it-- is destined to be. Percy weasly had been lost for a long time. He had spent his whole life desperate to gain his parents approval, but four years ago, with his hopes of becoming minister dashed by the war, he realised something he should have a long time ago. That he would never be enough for his parents.... But. Did did he need them? He had Oliver - his real family, and the best he could ever wish for - what more could he want? Now he knows it's true. Family is what you make it. But when he reconnects with a few of his siblings, an unexpected guest arrives, and Percy may have to confront his past, and his future, all at once. Fred weasley is confident, out going, mischievous and fun. He is all of these things, but he's also scared. So, so scared. Everyone is. The war has left only fear in those who are fighting back. But he knows that Lee is out there, alone and he will find him. .....fuck. Ginny isn't stupid (unlike most of her brothers) she knows she's in love, she also knows that her parents would never approve. Plagued day and night by thoughts of what they would say if they knew and constantly caught up in imaginary conversations that she daren't go through with. What can she do? And, more importantly, will she ever be able to form a complete sentence in front of Luna???

It's Christmas Day, 1996. Those at the Burrow are celebrating happily when Percy Weasley shows up with Rufus Scrimgeour in tow. However, the Minister isn't the only person he's brought with him... Or: The Minister of Magic requests Percy go home for Christmas to spend time with his family - provided he tag along, of course. Percy and Oliver use it as an opportunity.
