Before you freak out on me, you should know that I have everything under control. (I think) My name is Ariadne Black, and I'm a witch. (No, I'm not Sirius Black's long lost daughter. For Zeus' sake, Lou Ellen, stop calling me that.) I am also a demigod daughter of Hecate. Freaking out? I told you I have it under control. I spend summer at Camp Halfblood, and school years at Hogwarts. Should be simple, right? The thing is, those summers are in my future. Or your present. By now, they may be your past. The school years are my present, your past. (Hopefully not your future) I have just started my seventh year at Hogwarts, which means I only have a year to decide if I'm a witch or a demigod. On top of that, two wars are starting, both in different time periods. Oh joy. A really talented witch once said "Awful things happen to wizards who meddle with time", or so I've heard. Every rule has an exception, though. I am not the exception.

With the return of summer comes the reuniting of friends. Everything's over and everything done. There's not a thing in the world to worry about. But Nico's not there when summer starts.
