Betrayal isn't just an act, sometimes it's the absence of one. Percy Jackson has learned this the hard way and doesn't know how to feel about anything anymore. Lost in the sea of his own feelings, he tries to sort out how he feels about the gradual loss of his friends over the years. Some problems require a friend to pull you out and times a ticking, counting down to the very last second until it's too much to stand. The 2nd Titan's War proved Percy never has had time on his side and is seemingly true for present day. Beating the odds has always been a hobbie for Percy Jackson, unless he has forgotten and left that behind for yesterday. (Word Count: 8,846) When all seems over and done for, secrets unravel before Percy's eyes that he may have never dreamed about leaving so many possibilities in his wake. Settling in a new home far from his old one, many things are left up to chance and fate. With a life as unpredictable as Percy's, it's not hard to believe that fate chooses the most unlikely of those paths. One thing is for certain throughout Percy's path, no matter how the views may change for the better or worse, some things are best left forgotten. Teaser~ They had forgotten.
