A pen, a sword, and a story half-told.
At thirty years old, Percy Jackson is tired. Tired of war, of gods who never stop meddling, of the weight of his past pressing down on him like an unrelenting tide. When he takes up an old man on his offer, he finds himself transported to a world where magic is spoken in Latin instead of Ancient Greek, and wands replace celestial bronze. Hogwarts needs a new professor-someone to teach a peculiar elective that has long since been abandoned: Mythos & Magica, the study of divine magic.
The timing is unfortunate. It is Harry Potter's third year, and whispers of Sirius Black's escape echo through the castle halls. There is tension in the air, and Percy-never one to care for fate or prophecy-finds himself drawn into a different kind of war, one that is quieter but no less dangerous.
He is a man with no wand, no house affiliation, and no interest in choosing sides. But the students-Harry, Hermione, Ron, and even the wary Slytherins-begin to notice there is something different about this new professor.
Percy is no wizard. But Hogwarts has never had a god-touched teacher before.
