Percy had a certain ability, a rare one. He didn't know where he got it from but he did know what it does. The problem is that if anybody ever found out about his power, he'd be- for lack of better word- screwed. Percy had the ability to give any god any amount of power- he could restore them to the way they were in their Golden Age, back when everybody worshipped the mere thought of them. All he had to do was have physical contact, the deeper and more intimate the touch, the more power he gives. The gods love power, they crave it. They always have. But Percy is scared, he sees how far they go to grasp even just a hint of power, so what will happen when they find out that their one and only Hero of Olympus was a battery that never ran out and all you had to do to access that power was to touch him? But what if all is not as dire as it may seem? A/N: I'm more than a little mortified that people are still putting my other PJO fic into reading lists. It was written a long time ago and I've definitely improved since then, it's no longer reflective of my aptitude for writing, especially since I see it being put into Percy/Apollo categories. I've decided to upload this instead. I've also deleted the other fic. When Percy tried to hide from the sun, he forgot that the sun sees all. In Ancient Times, Helios told Demeter about Persephone's abduction. In modern day, Apollo would tell Poseidon nothing. Apollo has been waiting for his soulmate for millennia. When he finds his soulmate, there is no mortal nor god that can stop him from claiming his love. Not even the mortal son of the sea god, or the gods protecting him from Apollo's burning gaze.
