With wars drawn to an end, everything has been dropped. Now with so much time on his hands, rather than moving on and starting his senior year, Percy gives in to a the grief and starts to fall apart.

After Percy and Annabeth break up, Percy goes to talk to Nico and it doesn't go exactly according to plan. Nico and Percy started to avoid each other, everyone else is torn apart about the situation, and nobody really knows what to interpret it after Nico is outed.

Percy chooses working in a mental ward for his senior community service because he thought it would be easy. Talk to people, make them feel better, maybe a few lollipops here and there and boom. Done. But what he doesn't expect is someone like Nico di Angelo staying there. A bipolar, schizophrenic boy that's been there for five years, Nico could make this community service a lot harder for Percy. But as he gets to know Nico, Percy begins to look forward to his visits more and more.

After the war, everything went sort of back to normal for Demigods. And for some Demigods it was easy, others it wasn't. After a huge fight that broke up Percy and Annabeth, Percy turned to Nico, and things got more heated than he expected.

"Are you excited!" my mom asked excitedly. "Why would I be excited to go to a mental ward?" I asked. "Just trying to lighten the mood." My mom replied. "I love you... and I'll see you in a few weeks or so. You and Paul should visit often." I said as my mom pulled up to the ward that I would be staying at. "I love you too... We will..." My mom frowned and looked up but quickly put on a smile and turned back to me, "Are you sure you don't want me to come in with you?" She asked. "Yes, I'm Sure" I retorted. My mom leaned over to the passenger seat and kissed my cheek. "I'll miss you." She said. I smiled back at her. "I'll miss you too." I grabbed my bag from the backseat and opened the passenger door. Nico's antisocial, so of course Percy felt great when the boy started to open up to him. Eventually tho, things start to change. New feeling arise and Percy is left dam near clueless.
