This is a for KING & COUNTRY Fanfication. Brooklyn and Trinity became friends through Christian baptism and expanded their friendship through Color Guard at their school. They have an Instagram account, where they choreograph routines with Christian songs and post videos. One day, their routines and account gets discovered by their favorite Christian contemporary band, for KING & COUNTRY. Joel and Luke reach out to the girls and offer them to perform at their concerts.

He auditioned for the boarding school in the eighth grade with his best friend, but failed to get in so he kept working harder until he got in for the ninth grade. He keeps working hard, but feels like everyone else is at a higher level than him. Harmony Fleming: Harmony loves to sing. It's in her name after all, and she would do anything to be part of the showcase at the end of the year where selective students are chosen to perform their talents. She feels dejected every time she isn't chosen, but she feels like she will rise and be chosen before she graduates the following year. Landon Lodge: Landon isn't used to performing, so it took him a long time to audition for the boarding school after his best friend was constantly telling him how amazing the school was. It wasn't until his grandmother started getting very sick and told him to start living his life that he decided to audition. After making into the school, he doesn't feel like he fits in.

Melody, you have an amazing voice. It makes me tremble when it echoes through the walls as it rang to my ears. Why are even singing? Can't you accept it? You're dead.

Life is complicated. And it's rare that anyone has the right to say that their life is more complicated than anyone else's because 86% of the time, that's not true. This situation that I'm in is one of those times. This is just me and my friends singing and dancing and acting like we're in a High School Musical movie. So maybe it's wrong of me to say this whole thing is such a huge complication for me. I have food, clothes, a home, and everything else I could need; except for a peace of mind, I guess. Nearly every problem that I ever face is due to user error, and this is no exception. Signing up for a competition with a bunch of resilient teenagers probably wasn't the best thing for me. But I'm here now, and even my life at home will catch up with me. If I can make it through this "rough patch", I can make it through anything. Right? Right... keep telling yourself that, Lexi.

An idea I had for a piece of musical theatre based on my own experiences as well as anecdotal references from friends across the wider community. Basically, it's a story of unrequited love set amid the comings and goings of a show season. Also, if you are a composer, some of the songs are written and basically, composed, but if you like any of the ideas and have any ideas for melody/scoring etc I'd be happy to hear from you.
