Two brothers. One piano. Two very different journeys. Aden has always loved music. But growing up beside Freddie-a younger prodigy whose fingers seem to understand the piano better than words-leaves Aden wondering if there will ever be a place for him in the world he dreams of joining. While Freddie's talent shines effortlessly, Aden fights for every note, carrying the weight of comparison, family expectations, and a question that refuses to disappear: Is greatness something you are born with... or something you discover within yourself? From quiet afternoons beneath the banyan tree in India to the dazzling streets of Paris, Aden's journey takes him through friendship, heartbreak, love, loss, and the search for where he truly belongs. Along the way, he learns that music is not a competition between those who are gifted and those who struggle. It is a language that connects families, heals old wounds, and carries memories across generations and continents. Because becoming a great musician is not just about mastering the piano. It is about discovering who you are-and where your heart calls home.

Another school year has begun, which means The Arts: Academy for Creative Performance and Design has a new freshman class. A typical class roster includes kids from all over the state, but a stunning number of new students know each other from the same hometown. There's Andi, the shy songwriter who would give anything for her favorite band to use her work; Kiara, a talented artist from a broken home; Robbie, Tyler, and Matt - former band mates turned bitter enemies; and Ivan, an aspiring filmmaker with a penchant for crude humor. Seriously, how did one small town manage to produce this many artistically gifted teenagers? That's anybody's guess. But what we do know is this: these freshmen have just begun the ride of their lives, and for better or for worse, they're all in it together. Awkward crushes, old (and new) drama, and creative assignments abound, this isn't just high school; this is The Arts.

Starlight Empire Studios is not a reality show. It's a luxury training campus where the next generation of performers are made, not broken. Sixteen-year-old Jada Monroe didn't come here to be famous. She came to prove she's more than "the girl who choked at Nationals." When she lands a spot in Radiance Dance Company's Senior team, she thinks the hardest part is over. She's wrong. Because at Starlight, your biggest competition isn't the girl next to you. It's the deadline. The skill gap. The injury you didn't see coming. The parent in the lounge who thinks you took their kid's solo. And the version of yourself that still flinches when the music starts. With 5 divisions, 20 families, and one rule: We don't tear down. We build up. Jada and her crew have 10 months to go from trainees to headliners before the Starlight Showcase decides who gets brand deals, agency contracts, and a shot at the mainstage. No eliminations. No humiliation. But make no mistake - not everyone makes the cut. Welcome to Starlight. You're not here to survive it. You're here to own it.
