The three gems summoned their weapons. A giant robotic creature burst through the trees. This wasn't a gem. It looked like a machine almost, and I didn't want to be reminded what I thought it was, either. It was in a sphere kind of shape, having four metal poles to hold it up. In the middle of the machine, lied a rotating center piece, and a small circle, designed to shoot blasts of energy. That's when it started to shoot.

For Peridot, Steven was just a boy. Until she begins to understand that despite his childish behaviour he is someone special. Peridot develops feelings for him all of a sudden, but will Steven ever notice her? Or will Connie get in the way? Read the story to find out!

This is a re-edit of my original story by the same name on FanFiction.Net, it is Stevidot (StevenXPeridot for those who search using that) don't like that ship, I don't hold it against you but don't just come here to talk crap about this ship please. This is my first time writing so it may have some spelling errors and maybe a bit rushed here and there (not good at fillers just plot) but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless.

After Steven has left his family and friends, Peridot falls into a deep depression. Whining felling of emptiness and loneliness slowly killing her. Complete renunciation of reality will be reflected with a bang on the gem, driving it even deeper into the reasoning about the past.
