The gods of the past are dead.
The worlds gotten faster, smarter, more marginalized.
The gods had to follow with them.
Zeus, ever charming and ever as deceitful.
Hera, waits at home and relishes in the past when she and her husband tolerated one another.
Aphrodite, a wedding planner. And a damn good one.
Athena. Younger, tougher and louder. She the voices you hear in the streets who cry 'no justice, no peace!'
Artemis, the moon child and wanderlust traveler. Lives to discover.
Apollo. Lights, bright and hot as the sun. Sweat dripping down his brow. He sings and the people pay to listen worldwide.
Ares. War is on. War is continuous. And now? He is at his fullest of power.
Hephaestus, diamonds and rubies. All wrapped in a shining metal band. He walks easier now, rough now changed soft.
Hermès. Young, bright and sly. He runs through the streets, as if he's gliding on air. Skipping in and out of pockets, collecting some decent penny change.
Eros, love is dead. Those who believe loves still alive. Has not experienced enough heartbreak .
Poseidon. Cleansing and protecting his lovely waters and the creatures to be found inside.
Demeter. Calendar on the wall, she waits. Wandering in and out from the roses to the chrysanthemums.
Hades. He is happy. Warm and safe. And he finally. Finally. Beat his brothers at something.
Persephone. She dances barefoot in the kitchen, warm , happy, safe and alive. She feels alive.
Hercules. Theatrics were always his thing. Ready to woo the crowds wether it's reciting soliloquy's or slaying a beast. People gather to see him.
The old gods are dead. But the New gods are very much alive and taking over.
