A reimagining of the famous Greek myth: The abduction of Persephone. But with a creative and romantic twist. ⚠️This story is a creative interpretation, creative liberties will be taken. Do not take these creative liberties literally. They are and were not meant to be accurate to Greek mythology.⚠️

When Persephone said she hated her life, it wasn't an understatement. She had a name as old as the earth itself, a family who tried to hold itself together by only a few threads, and the thing she hated most in all the world, the small town she was born in. The only thing she loved most in the world was her garden of flowers. But her normal boring life turns upside down when the new exchange student comes in. He, in Persephone's eyes, is the epitome of danger with his eyes like fire and his smile that speaks of trouble. Will Persephone stick with her plan of leaving this place behind when she graduates or will he change her life upside down just it time to see everything in a new light?

What happens when they meet again and she comes with him? A retelling of the myth of Hades and Persephone, with a few changes. WARNING: The first two chapters are TERRIBLE so I might start fixing them.

The man on the throne abruptly stood up, his dark black eyes shining with an untammed flame, one that turned everything into embers. The human girl felt the anger radiate off the man and started to run towards the entrance she came from, only to suddenly feel arms wrap around her waist, crushing her against a very solid chest. She opened her mouth to yell, but a strong hand covered her mouth. "You are a fiesty little girl." It was evident that the man was smirking in his voice; he was enjoying her fear. "Now, I do not want to punish you so early. So please, be the good girl that you are and be quiet. Not that screaming will do you any good; you are in the Underworld, after all." --- It had been five years after the death of her older sister before nineteen year old Katherine Bakers could even sleep peacefully at night. She had witnessed her own sisters murder, leaving scars beyond compare. She withdrew from her family and became a quiet recluse. Hades is a very dangerous man who rules the Underworld with an iron fist with no immorse for punishments of the wicked. He has a stone-cold heart that feels like ice, as no one has been able unthaw his frozen heart. And he is slowly losing time.
