-In this poetry, a baby bird experiences first breath, first life, out of her shell, brothers, and sisters, and so on. When hatching she must grow, before she leaves her home, just like a gate. When gates are locked, the only way through is with a key that unlocks that gate. Tis; like having parents be the guard of the gate, earn the key and you may leave. -By growing.- So, will this baby bird know how to use her strategy and balance through this, dark unknown universe? Before she can pass, she must become the best... Fear here, Fear where? Fear could be anywhere....

Jeffery Coden's best friend, Samantha Dean, was always there for him. Gave him a shoulder to cry on, accepted him when he came out as being gay and was there for him through thick and thin. She was always just a phone call and a 2-minute walk away, and she'd consistently brought thin mints with her when the going got rough. But just one thing can mess up a happy relationship. Just two cars and one incident brought him into a dark corner that even counselors, family, and friends couldn't get him out of.
