We called each other names the stars would envy, Owdru and Aurealis. Together, we became something softer, stranger, more beautiful: Owrealis. This is a book of poems, not just about love, but about the echo it leaves. It is about angel numbers, digital touches, three sacred months, and a heart trying to rewrite itself. This is what happened between the seventh and the silence. Welcome to Owrealis, a love that didn't end, just changed shape. - theaurealis.

Why Do We Write? - My Poetry Book, is the first book in an ever-growing series of personal poetry. This first collection invites readers to pause, reflect, and feel while journeying through themes of love, identity, and creativity. Because in the end, writing is how we understand ourselves. As the first book, it's a glimpse into a lifetime of poetic expression, with many more volumes to come.

Sometimes I wish I had someone who went through exactly what I go through. That way I'd have someone who really, really, truly, actually understood. But I guess that's pretty impossible, and besides, I have people who are close to really, really, truly, actually understanding me. But my best companion has always been writing. I have written these poems, some very recently, and some a long, long time ago, but when I reread them I can almost feel what it was like (even though some of them are hopelessly cringy). I want to share these with you, because hopefully, they'll become your companion too. Hopefully, they can at least almost understand you, and hopefully they bring you the inspiration you need to keep it moving in life. Hopefully, they'll bring you closer to someone who really, really, truly, actually understands you. Because that would be amazing. - Mia Lê

Looking through the lens of ink, the black and white and a piece of paper is a friend who understands me, and I understand it. Everything is better when I just sit and write. My words depict everything. Her 10,000 words is a collection of my unspoken words through poetry.

"Echoes in Reticence" delves into the inner dilemma of holding back emotions and unspoken words. It vividly captures the profound ache of wanting to express feelings but fretting they might burden others. As thoughts and words remain trapped in the deep recesses of the mind, they become echoes-yearning to be freed but confined in silence. A soulful exploration of the burden of unexpressed truths.

In the silence of my heart, a language was born. A language that whispers secrets, screams with joy, and weeps with sorrow. 'The Language of My Heart' is a journey through the depths of my emotions, an expression through syllables that echoes the beauty and complexity of My Thoughts that deny being buried alive.

My fourth journal! 🎉 Perception, memory (nostalgia), and emotion are subjective experiences that vary from person to person and are context-dependant. This journal thrives to describe the intersectionality of the three. I wanted to capture perceptions of nostalgia.
