Have you ever read a book and wondered 'can that really happen?' Well as the official know it all I am here to break down fiction and explain on how things can and cannot be. I do hope this could add a touch of realism to your writing or just give you some cool facts.

"Dear Mr. Pessimist, here are a few reasons to love yourself and the world." When Sydney Hale gets a job at one of the biggest bakeries in her town, she expects a normal and calm atmosphere. Little does she know that she's in for the exact opposite when she meets the store owners son. Bennett Banks hates everything. And when Sydney starts working at the shop, she becomes his next target. Little did he know that she was going to be leaving him sticky notes with reasons to love himself and the world every day when she left the bakery. And when his parents go out of town, it's up to the two teens to try and get along so they can run the store and stop kids from breaking in again in the middle of the night. A class A pessimist. A quirky girl with a great outlook on life. What could possibly go wrong?

i swear im not depressed, i just can't think of any happy poems right now.

I'm only a human, trudging through this world in the same way as many others. I may not be very good at poetry, but I enjoy it, despite what I usually write about. Let's just say I'm not exactly the most optimistic brick in the wall.

It's now 2037, and it has been seventeen years since IT came and changed the whole world's way of living. For people living in the nation of Unus, their lives now revolve around following the rules put into place by President Jax. He has expressed the importance of everyone in the nation following the rules because it's what keeps them safe and it's what helps to separate the good ones in the nation called the 'thrivers' from THEM. To help see to it that the thrivers are doing their part for the betterment of Unus, President Jax has put together a special task force called the Corowatchers. Refusal to follow the rules and it's off to THAT PLACE for thrivers to spend the rest of their lives in exile with THEM. For 16 year-old Emersyn Wren, this is what her life revolves around, living to survive and surving to live. For her it's simple, keep your head down and do what you're suppose to do and everything will be fine, or so she thinks. When things begin to happen in her state and around the nation that pose a threat to every thriver's survival, everything she believes in is put to the test as she struggles to keep her family together, has to deal with the number one girl she can't stand at Monthill High, Frankie Jo, and her friends, she uncovers secrets, and she befriends the school loner, Brock Hensley.
