Pessimism Stories

What would happen if one could see my mind? Wierd question that is for homework, don't you think? Well, probably nothing cause my mind is not too interesting for others to see. I am a fine teenager living out my best life. My life is going so well that I don't feel sad now. That's a great thing, right? But oh well, I won't want anyone to see my mind, though, because sometimes it gets a little restless. Wierd thoughts come to me from time to time, thoughts that should not come. Oh, but that does not matter cause I am fine. Right?

These are poems I wrote when I was depressed or being downright pessimistic. Poems I wrote were I was thinking of just melting into oblivion. I know that some of you may relate to it so please enjoy reading. The following poems may talk about suicide, self-harm, depression and other things that may trigger the reader. Please read at your own risk.

Kimo is known for being a good samaritan. Everyone loves her for what she is and everyone thought that her life is all rainbows and unicorns. But then she crossed paths with Alessandro-'the great Heartbreaker' who abhors her being. “I know I haven’t known you for long, but, can you just do me one small favour Adrianna?” I said as I stared at her. She blinked momentarily and a tear escaped her eye, as she replied in a small whisper. “It depends what the favour is” ***** Adrianna Lillington is not the perfect girl; she's flawed, she's got her own problems, and she's the furthest thing from perfect and she knows it. The total number of friends that she has can be counted on one hand; three. She has her secrets, secrets that nobody knows about. Rewind three years and a half and her life was at it's highest point. She had two loving parents, a circle of friends she trusted and treasured, and a community of family friends that loved and cherished her. She had love and affection, in every direction. Hildred Esmé Anson has always been a huge pessimist. She would look at things in a negative way even if her friends would try and brighten up the mood. Nobody has any idea how and why she saw this different perspective. What could've started this? Has she always been this way? Will her point of view change? Let's join her and take a peek on the life of a pessimist.

Ludovico Romano is an old man living in a busy and beautiful city. Even with it all he still views the world in an uncanny perspective, keeping his old ways and traditions and using it as a guide to try survive in the modern world. He tries to fit in and live like his usual self but there is this certain factor that holds him back permanently. And even after all this time, Ludovico still does not understand why he does the things that he does. The endless swaying waters of the canals, the sensitive bridges that go over it, the gentle sidewalks that hold the city, and the tiny purpose of its modern buildings mixed in with the old. Venice is a place where dreams find their other half. Every sight in the city can hold a special place in anyone's heart as a chreishable memory to be keep in mind.
