What if Mapleshade wasn't evil, but Appledusk was? Mapleshade wasn't always an evil cat. When she made the mistake of taking on the mate Appledusk, a RiverClan warrior, and bearing his kits, she was banished from ThunderClan. On her way to RiverClan, her kits drowned, and she took them to RiverClan, facing rejection from RiverClan and her own mate, who had taken on Reedshine as a mate now. Furious and desperate to avenge her kits deaths, Mapleshade killed Ravenwing, ThunderClan's medicine cat that revealed her secret to the clan, Frecklewish who had been watching Mapleshade's kits drown, and accidentally killing Appledusk whilst aiming for Reedshine. She dies afterwards by a fatal injury from Appledusk's apprentice, Perchpaw, and roams in The Dark Forest. She stirred trouble for the clans, and participated in the Great Battle, killing Spottedleaf after she sacrificed herself for Sandstorm. But... but what if all this never happened? What if Mapleshade lived on in RiverClan, Darkstar accepting her, and her kits living on in RiverClan with their mother and father? What if Mapleshade never killed Ravenwing, Frecklewish or Appledusk, and she eventually did die, living on in Starclan? What if Mapleshade never became evil and never went to the Place of No Stars? What if Spottedleaf's spirit still lived on to this very day? In this story I twist 'Mapleshade's Vengeance' by Erin Hunter.

This is an alternate universe if Petalkit never drowned in the river and was founded by Moonstar and Cloudrose back to Dawnclan. And along the way meets a new friend, Snakekit. She see her brothers guiding her in the right direction to a brighter hope for her friends and family and for the clans. Will Petalkit defeat Mapleshade to save the clans from future destructions? Will she join her mother in the dark forest? What will Petalkit do that will determine the clans fates? Will they fall or stay together? I found some other stories and I want to do Petalkit because she was my favorite and I wanted to join in the Mapleshade's stories. So here it is. And I'm not close to finishing this story. So, I've decided to try it once more! I've tried to redo it a few times on different accounts, but each of them I grew bored with it! I'm planning to do better now with relatively frequent updates. What if Birchface and his apprentice never died, and was there to help Mapleshade and Kits to be warriors for his clan , has he willing to help her will he succeed to convince the clan that the kits can be warriors despite being half-blood or will instead destroy it.

After the brush with untimely death, Mapleshade is miraculously saved by ThunderClan's replacement medicine cat, and accepted back in by the weakened, guilt-ridden Oakstar. Though, knowing that Appledusk's kin will always be a part of RiverClan, her thirst for blood-soaked vengeance for her kits still would never rest. And with the favor of her one of her own kin, as tensions rise between these two of the Clans, she could now further stain the forest in RiverClan's blood.

Petalkit is constantly haunted by the most vivid memory she has from her kithood. It reminds her that she still owes so much to her mother. She will do anything for her. But one day, she decides to go too far. Will she continue in her mother's blood-stained paw steps- down a torturous, lonely path to catastrophe, or will she realise what she's doing before it's too late? --------- Mapleshade lied and murdered to keep her kits in a safe and loving clan, but now they've cast her out. She seeks help from Riverclan, only to have something awful happen to her. Now she's manipulated and trained her kits to do her dirty business for her. What if ThunderClan decided to keep Mapleshade's kits instead of exiling them alongside her? Larchkit, Petalkit, and Patchkit have been raised believing that their father is Birchface, a dead ThunderClan warrior. But when the truth is revealed, ThunderClan decides to exile Mapleshade and keep her kits. For unknown reasons, StarClan blesses the three kits with powers, each chosen carefully. But what are they meant to do with the powers? And, out of all cats, why did StarClan choose them? Will they use their powers for the greater good, or will they decide to twist their blessing into corruption?
