They were left with no food, water, and shelter. StarClan hadn't even said a word. The whole Clan started to fall apart, cats were becoming rouges and some were even dying from starvation as the whole forest was crumbled to ash and dust. Petalstar is determined to keep her Clan together, though, she's on her last life with no deputy, no medicine cat, no queens, and no elders. She was only left with a couple of warriors, an apprentice, and herself. Petalstar decides that the best choice is for her last standing cats to go on an journey and find a new place to stay. Although it's risky, the leader stayed behind and told them one day, she'll see them again. Can these cats find a place to stay and continue the life of PetalClan or will the cats fail their mission, and maybe even lose some on their way? Karu is a normal young cat, despite being the smallest of the litter, enjoying her days in the birch field. However haunted by nightmares and forcefully separated from her family, she journeys far, searching until she finds refuge among a Clan of cats. Or so she thinks. As Karu struggles with constant nightmares and a desire to find herself and fit in, she is in for an unfortunate truth. Will this be her undoing?

Who knows what will happen when PetalStar finds out that she has to save the clan with her sister. This is a story that revolves around her and her history. Comments on the chapters are welcome.
