On March 3, 1969, the United States Navy created an elite school for the top fighter pilots in the country. The government calls it "Fighter Weapons School" but, to Melissa Ann Mitchell and everyone else, it's known as TOP GUN. In 1987 his 'lover' turned out pregnant with a baby girl after she was born in March of 1988 her mother left her with Maverick alone.
