(highschool AU! henry creel/reader) you have it all, popularity, good grades, and at the top of the social hierarchy of hawkins high. never once have you ever needed help, you got it all on your own, and you certainly never messed with those considered beneath you. however, that all changes when one night, your mom suddenly never comes back home from work, and her disappearance flips your life as you know it, upside down. you reluctantly seek the help of the weird girl, jane hopper, her d&d playing friends, and the supposed wizard boy with powers, henry. (i do not own stranger things, this is a fanfiction work.)

Dawn is the daughter of Dr Brenner, she was forced to work with her dad once she turned eighteen. once she found out that her father tests on children she grew strong hatred for him. Dawn meets Henry in the lab, they quickly grow fond of each other and later on plan an escape plan for themselves and for the children. Tw: some abuse (like what 001 went through in the show, same thing), possibly some other stuff, if so it will be warned in that chapter:)
