Then he finds out a butterfly killing fact. She is getting married in a few weeks. Everyone is at the hotel they used to go to on vacations. He once promised to walk her down the isle because her father passed away and asked him to do so. But a certain phrase she uses leads him to believe she is in danger. Will Peter be able to save her? Will a romance begin between the two? Or will the old saying Till Death Do Us Part come into play a lot sooner than either of them anticipated?

Beginning in September 1984, the main character Donna Marie Eisele (INSPIRED BY DONNA WHITE BUT NOT ACTUALLY HER - TAKE EVERYTHING WITH A GRAIN OF SALT) is starting her second year of college, majoring in archaeology (aged 19) in New York City.
