[Doctor Who (2005) | The Doctor/Original Female Character] All her life, Riley had known one undeniable truth: She had the worst luck in the entire history of bad lucks. It was the cold, hard fact that anyone, who'd ever met her, would agree. And yet, strangely enough, Riley sometimes felt like she had the best luck in the worst situations. (Technically, those situations only happened because of her bad luck in the first place, but she'd rather not think about that.) Take right now, for example. Once again, Riley had managed to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. And once again, she was in dire danger involving aliens. But hey! At least The Doctor's there to catch her when she falls.

Life on the slow path has been difficult enough for the part-human Tenth Doctor. When a voice he cannot immediately identify whispers his name in the darkness, a 17th Century cannon ball hurtles out of Time to land in Pete Tyler's garden, and a Blue Box he never dreamed he would see again appears in the forest, he knows that Life will never be quite the same again. The path that had been chosen for him by a Timelord who no longer wears his face is about to change.

"You're really different outside of schooling hours." He says. I scoff. "You can talk." "Touché." .. After Mickey contacts Rose on weird occurrences in a neighbouring school, Deffry Vale High School, Rose and the Doctor come and investigate. The Doctor, becoming a physics teacher- after the previous teacher mysteriously won the lottery that she never entered- and Rose, a dinner lady. The Doctor immediately understands the issue, the students are unnaturally smart. One girl, Emily, stands out beyond them all, easily dwarfing the intelligence of all the other students combined. . Emily is not normal, and she knows it; being found, abandoned, on a stormy night as a mere baby is not a normal beginning to a life. The bullies knew it, too. Though she no longer suffers the abuse of bullies, her mental scars have remained just that, scars. They never healed, and never faded. Hiding behind her smarts and a shy smile, she masks the pain of loneliness. Even her best friend, Nina, is not able to pick apart the loneliness that has cocooned around her heart. Emily has never met someone like her self, intelligence with a softness. That is until she met Mr Smith. . Entering the physics class, the Doctor did not expect to be shocked by one of the students, but that's exactly what happened when he met Emily, the shy girl at the front of the class. He never considered that a human, no matter how magnificent the species is, could even be compared to his intellect; though he is proved wrong when she answers all of his difficult physic questions with ease. Somehow being pulled towards the mysterious student, the Doctor can't help but feel like there is more to Emily than meets the eye. ... This is not a Doctor x student fan fiction. Rose Tyler is the daughter of arcade boss Pete Tyler in the seaside town of Broadchurch. Rose is in danger when Jack Harkness, Pete's arcade rival goes after her to get in on his plans for the town after DI Alec Hardy arrives and falls in love with Rose. Harkness's plan is going sour so he makes one last desperate attempt to get to Pete and is planning to get Hardy out of his way. Based loosely on 'Blackpool'

This is the story of what happened when Rose Tyler, with no means of her getting back to her own world decided to stop pining after the Doctor. She chose to get on with the life she had been handed and met a certain grumpy Alec Hardy at her newly opened shop in a town called Broadchurch and after a case of mistaken identity changed both their lives for the better. This was the first story I ever wrote, back in 2014 so a lot of things have since come to light since. The story goes between the characters points of view so some parts may be repeated. Victoria Joy Tyler (Joy Tyler) is an ordinary 19 year old who has been living with her auntie and cousin in London since her dad passed away from having a heart attack whilst driving. One day, she is shopping when the store mannequins come to life and just scratches the side of her head when it fires. What else she didn't expect, however, was a mysterious man known as the Doctor helping her to his blue police box to patch up the bleeding wound. He later asks her to travel with him, and she accepts. Unfortunately as they travel through time and space, the duo didn't expect two words to be following them, 'Bad Wolf.'

Following on from 'Rose Tyler's new life', their journey continues as they marry and settle down in a small village just outside Broadchurch and plan to start a family. All is not settled though, there are some surprises, excitement and scares for the newlyweds and the first birthday present that Rose buys Alec Hardy just after they met comes into it's own.
