Inspired by the school system in the Netflix anime Kakegurui as well as the hentai Drop Out, in this story the society system includes pets. The ranks, into which the people are divided, depend on their grades - not on their gambling skills as in Kakegurui. Like in Drop Out, very good students would be rewarded with personal pets, but opposite to the hentai the pets wouldn't be chosen for the students. Very good students would be given the opportunity to "adopt" a pet of their choice and actually not for sexual purposes, even though it results in it in pretty much all cases since they're in puberty. Once someone is a pet, every student that still has human status can ask them to do anything and treat them however they like at any time, not only at school. If they're adopted, their owner's command is absolute, no matter what anyone else says, including the teachers. In consequence, all students but especially girls fear to get bad grades and end up as a pet... However, there are also students who drop out by choice. Sadie cannot prevent herself from becoming a pet anymore; and as typical for a streak of bad luck, she's adopted by one of the smart bad boys. But as the first days in her pet life hell go by, she soon discovers a sweet side to the player and for the first time in years she has hope - hope for a good life.
