Another successful mission done by me (Levi Ackerman). I was pretty tired and decided to take a nap. I then woke up and saw my ex squad. Me, in confusion, thought it was a dream and wanted to wake up for I don't want to miss them at my awakening. The dream doesn't seem to end and i decided to go with the story line's flow. Years passed by and I still don't seem to wake up. "Is this really a dream?". Many things have already happened. Then one time, something terrible that I didn't expected has happened. Something that humanity feared and tried to avoid. Everything went wrong. Everything went dark. Then finally... I woke up... Or is this another dream? Or this is now the reality?

This is a Rivetra fanfiction because I wanted to make something dedicated to my OTP.

Amongst the fallen and blood stained streets, walked Corporal Levi Ackerman, captain of the Survey Corpse, and one of humanity's last hopes. The man, unafraid of the Titans, of the blood, of the pain, of death itself, he was only pusillanimous of one thing; living without her. Living without Petra. If he could, he would die a thousand times, just so she could live. He'd give up each limb, just to hear her laugh. And every drop of blood in his body to feel her embrace, just as he did whenever a large mass of Titans were slaughtered. For her, he would give everything.

~Rewritten Story~ Petra ral, a kind, sweet, caring girl of 26. Levi Ackerman, a stoic, harsh and unsocial man of 33. He seems harsh, but is he really? Or is he just broken?

Levi almost had it, love, happiness, and the chance of a family but he lost it all in one moment. A moment he could never change. Petra's funeral is today, how will Levi react?
