As Iris woke up she felt a cold breeze in her face that brought her back to how it all started. She jumped out of bed and closed the window that she had left open all night. I thought the building was just old. Quiet. Ordinary. I was wrong. There's no button for the ninth floor in the elevator. At least, not most of the time. But I saw it-once.
