Ever since I was young, I've had a very strong bond to animals. It hurts me when they are mistreated & Abused.

A tribute to the most unexpected friend and confidant to ever sit on my lap. Over the past several months I have had to side line my adventuring exploits, and writing has taken a back seat to attend to mortality. I'm new to the whole grieving thing, and I really wasn't prepared for the heaviness that comes in the wake of such loss. Is this normal stuff everyone feels?
