She is an agent of a mysterious firm. She fixes universes and corrects lives and avenges people. That's her job. Jumping between universes and possessing people temporarily taking over their lives. Her manager is too lenient and out of touch with the world. She is lazy, petty and has a terrible personality. But that's to be expected after having lived for centuries. She is now tired of her job but she's not allowed to retire. So now she's resorted to try and get fired and failing her missions. But some mysterious powerful celestial keeps pulling strings for her so she always results in unwanted success. Now she's had enough. If the celestial is going to do the work for her anyway then she might as well treat her next mission as a vacation.
