Just some ideas about the rewrite that I'm working on. This is in no particular order.

Petunia Dursley was a prim and proper woman. She was the perfect housewife and mother to her son Dudley. She also served as the caregiver for her nephew, offering the basics to keep him alive. Behind closed curtains Petunia was miserable. She was stuck in a loveless marriage with an abusive husband, who spoiled their son rotten. So when she is granted the opportunity to meet a shadow from the past, she is about to risk her whole facade come tumbling down, just for a moment of passion. But that passion comes with great consequences...

Petunia Dursley is a perfectly normal woman, with a perfect family, living in an average home. No one in her quaint little town knows of the strange, freak-of-a-sister that she hasn't seen in over five years. And that suits Petunia just fine. Yet, it seems her past (and regrets) come back to haunt her on one cursed Halloween night...

After the war, Petunia Dursley finds that Hogsmeade is a far cry from Little Whinging when she takes refuge in the Three Broomsticks. inspired by love of a sister I do think that each character in every book has their own story, so what did Petunia's say about her. Our flat one dimension version of Petunia couldn't possibly be her whole character. What if Harry's abuse was worse? Did Petunia have regrets? Why was Harry's childhood so awful, and could Petunia have fixed it if she tried? She asks herself every day, could she have fixed it if she tried?

Dudley Dursley had first encountered magic consciously when he was 11 years old. When the huge man had given him a pigtail. Since then it terrified him to hear the word magic. But everything changed when he and his parents had to go into hiding. There he encountered many children, many his age who were magical and in hiding due to the war. He stepped out of his comfort zone to know more about his cousin's world. And he never looked back.

Watching two close friends get married is a beautiful occasion. However, Sirius finds it challenging to watch two friends experience a joy--love--he hasn't. He uses their wedding to solve that. TW/Referenced homophobia Crossposted to AO3.

Harry finds he is lonely at home with no friends. He begins to see the world differently with his glasses, which he names Gertrude. Harry catches feelings for her, what does he do?
