[ENG] Following the events of "Prince Caspian", peace seems to loom over Narnia. After defeating Lord Miraz and his troops, the land is ready to pick up the pieces and rebuild itself bit by bit. The Sovereigns of Old, determined to remain in Narnia at least until the realm has learned to live and reintegrate into society once more, forge an alliance with the new Telmar, now led by King Caspian X. At least, that is the formal narrative.
In reality, however, both peoples suffer under the weight of what they have gained. Can a nation coexist with its former oppressors? And can the latter learn to respect the people they stifled for over a century? Conflict feels so inevitable that it allows Alastor, the Court Armorer and advisor to the late usurper Lord Miraz, to instigate a rebellion, the infamous "Telmarine Revolt."
Having heard the words of the wealthy, surly man, Aslan orders the Four Watchers charged with observing the Cloud that controls time and space to intervene. They summon the aid of a young Daughter of Eve from the modern world who possesses extraordinary powers.
Sixteen-year-old Talia Carroll meets the Four Watchers and sets off for the land of Narnia, ready to do whatever it takes to help defend a people so weary, weakened, torn, and scarred.
On a journey to discover herself, her powers, and the depths of friendship and love, the red-haired girl soon realizes that following the rules of the "Inviolable Contract" suggested by the Watchers-which she agreed to sign-will be far more difficult than she ever imagined.
