Her parents separated when she was young, and her mother moved to Milwaukee while she stayed in Split River until she was thirteen, and events happened that caused her to move in with her mom. Neither of her parents fully moved on from Wally's death as they both had loved him, so she grew up walking past his picture in the living room each day as they tried to raise her to make sure she would never know the pain and guilt of feeling responsible for the death of someone so dear to her. But nothing could've stopped what happened one month ago. She moved back to Split River after a physically and mentally traumatic incident, her family legacy now having a pattern and knowing exactly how her dad felt after Wally's death.
