Prologue Hey, my name is Blue Parakeet but everyone calls me Blue for short. I'm 16 years old and live in a parallel universe called Bird World. In my world people are shape shifters, and no we can't shift into anything! Just birds. We can access other worlds by using special portals. Unfortunately the portals are only in specific places and they can take us to other more dangerous worlds like Were-world and Fang-world. Our shape shifter forms are called our "true forms" since they're the forms we were meant to be. My "true form" is a blue parakeet. Everyone here is named for their true forms like my brothers. Their names are Eagle and Crane. Their true forms are kind of obvious... My moms bird is a Tinamou, and that is her name. Our world is mostly peaceful and quiet, but once in a long while evil threatens our world, and this story is about one time when I had to give everything up to fight and struggle to overcome the evil.
