There was peace between the humans and demons. This was where it ended. This is where the pain was supposed to stop. Ray has a history of self-harm, which comes back stronger than a '90s trend after Isabella kills herself in front of him. Everything goes sideways afterwards, forcing Ray, Norman, Emma, and the others to occupy a hotel until they can figure things out. (I apologize for the Taylor Swift reference. I just- I had to. How often do you get the chance to use it?! 😂)

One day, Ray encounters Norman at school. He was kind for no reason- he made Ray happy. He even tried to get Ray to stay at his house to protect him. But that didn't stop Ray from doing what he did.

It started out switching POVs then turned into 3rd person writing. Plus, there's a lot of skipping for a while when Norman gets shipped, because it's basically just Norman putting up with Ray's self-destructive tendencies. Don't skin me alive if it's not good. It's my first fanfic.
