Dan is the year ten official scapegoat and weirdo in his highschool, Hansen Highschool. But there are some things most kids don't know about him, he has depression and he is a song writer. He is guilty of forgetting his ideas for songs quickly though so he always keeps a sharpie on hand so he can jot it down on his arm if the need arises. But he doesn't believe in soulmates. Brushing off any bruises or scrapes as an accident he doesn't remember because he is just so clumsy. But what happens when Dan meets a boy that he is undeniably attracted to, and this year eleven boy seems a bit more than just interested in him? ~~~ Phil is the year eleven's ray of pure sunshine. But most people don't know that he is abused by his family, being the youngest of four, and a 'mistake not worthy of a soulmate'. This is a mixed up sorta soulmate au where if you draw something on yourself it shows up on your soulmate in the same spot as well as the au where (and I know this isn't a very popular one but I figured I'd give it a try) if your soulmate is hurt physically, you feel the pain/have the same marks appear on your skin that is on theirs. (Dan and Phil are only a year apart in age in this as well instead of four in this for the record)
