High school phan Dan and Phil meet throughout the years but can never stay together... until now?

It's my first fanfic, I'm sorry in advance. Basically a high school au where Dan and Phil are in different French classes, and the school has a limited budget, so they have to share textbooks with someone in another class. Surprise (you guessed it) Dan and Phil end up sharing, and Phil leaves himself little notes in the textbook, which Dan finds. You have to read to find out the rest, mofos.

Phil is the kid in school who is almost invisible. Not that he cares, he's always too busy getting lost in the world of a good book at any second he gets. Dan on the other hand has just about anything but a book in his hand. It's not Dan's fault that he can't pick up a book. He blames his own damned mind for not allowing him to be able to read a sentence without frustration. So, when the book worm is assigned with the party animal to do a book report and make a novel "come to life" it's not a surprise that they don't really click well. But, as time goes on they might realize just how much one book can bring even polar opposites together.

dan is a nerdy outcast. phil is popular, he doesn't know dan. he doesn't know that dan writes about him. he doesn't know until he finds dans notebook.

17 year old school bully Dan Howell is partnered up for an English task with his victim, 17 year old Phil Lester he continues to tease and bully the raven haired boy and doesn't feel any remorse until he gets to know Phil. That's when he sees the scars and bruises that he has caused and he breaks down. But instead of acting upon his feelings he leaves Phil in the dust, causing Phil to attempt to end his life.
