High school AU. Dan is popular and kind of a jerk but really likes phil. There's a dance coming up and Dan really wants to spend it with Phil, but the other popular kids and homophobic assholes don't like the idea.

Dan is sent away to the kingdom of Shire by his parents. In a matter of three weeks he safes the life of the young prince and is made his personal serving boy. Dan also happens to be a wizard and anyone who is found to be able to do magic is put to death. He confides in the young prince and soon their friendships ablaze.
