This is the first part in my rewrite of the Star Wars prequels. I'm gonna be making both small and big changes to parts of the story and try to make it fit in better with the continuity of the original films.

A Star Wars AU, where Maul successfully captures Queen Amidala and fails to kill Qui-Gon. Maul also kidnaps Obi-wan Kenobi sensing a strong connection from the Force between them.

Amalia 'Lia' Kenobi. Master Obi-Wan's younger sister and one of the two Senators of Alderaan. Close friends with Bail Organa, the other Senator of Alderaan, his wife Breha, and Padmé Amidala, Senator/former Queen of Naboo. Anakin Skywalker. Obi-Wan's closest friend. The Chosen One. A Tatooine slave turned Jedi. Stubborn until he gets what he wants. Also close friends with Padmé Amidala, Queen/Senator of Naboo. These are all words to describe the two. Almost complete polar opposites. One being trapped under the Jedi code, the other a politician. One being quiet, innocent yet a good, strong leader like her brother, the other being stubborn to wits end, loud, very sarcastic, and outspoken. The things they have in common? A strong connect between the two of them, a forbidden feeling for a Jedi, love. The Force was strong in Lia, just like it was in Obi-Wan and Anakin, she just chose not to be trained in it as much as her brother was. Obi-Wan is protective of his younger sister, Amalia but what happens when Anakin finds out about her? Only a few certain people from the Jedi council knew of her relation to Obi-Wan. Naboo is in crisis. The Trade Federation's unlawful blockade of their planet is leaving hundreds starved and thousands without the ability to go off planet. Turning to the Jedi for assistance, Queen Naberrié must conquer adversity and fear in order to free her planet. None are safe and change must occur in the deepest traditions for there to be survival. The Sith have returned and the Galaxy will never be the same again.

The events between the phantom menace and attack of the clones and non of this is canon, well in my head it is...unless, yo Disney, you seeing this? 👀

I've spent my spiritual life with my family in Mortis, My sister of the light, my brother of the dark, And father of the force. I was but a wondering pure soul, a spirit, wondering aimlessly, till I stumbled upon Mortis, and the siblings found me. They and father took me in as their own family member, a daughter, a sister. They've done so much for me, and taught me about the force and how to connect with it. Sure, brother and sister sometimes quarrel and argue to leave or remain in Mortis for the balance to stay in check. However, They always remain understanding and caring while I calm them, and have them see the many peaceful places through me. For I was one of the two chosen ones, as my family called me. The half of protection, love, and compassion. While my other half, the other chosen one, is called of courage, strength, and kinship. Or in other words. The Protector, And the Knight. However, We've been feeling the force's disturbing ruptures. We knew it was time for me to be born. But I know fate would one day reunite us. Little did I know it also brought me a good and endearing life as an adopted Miraluka girl of one of the Jedi masters. Along someday meeting my other half and grow together. Fighting side by side and saving others with my Skywalker. And swore an oath to keep him safe, and never fall completely to the dark side. and save the universe from evil. *Note; none of the pictures, Except my OC, But not her actor Jessica Alba, are mine.*

I never thought I could behold such a gift, not till my home planet, Naboo, was taken over by the Trade federation while my older sister, Padmé, was Queen. Two Jedi told me what I could be, how to become a hero of legends, a guardian of peace and justice- a Jedi Knight. I was to train under Mace Windu, a strict and uncompromising Jedi master- but a powerful one. He taught me everything, like how there was only good and evil. Jedi and Sith- I never questioned it, of course. Not till certain Jedi proved otherwise. Anakin Skywalker, the best pilot in the galaxy and the greatest Jedi I'd ever known. But there was more, much more. He was arrogant, headstrong, always biting off more than he could chew. He was strong, brave, and at times unbelievably kind. He made me laugh, and we taught each other how to love. But Anakin was also a man who wanted too much, who cared too much. It lead him astray, away from me, from good into evil. But was it just for evil? The thing always questioned, to this day. Could the universe indeed be as black and white as I painted? No, not anymore. Not from what I had seen and experienced. How could I still love a man who'd fallen so far? If the world was just good and evil- I should hate him- but it was not that simple. It never was. Because my love for Anakin Skywalker will always be... Eternal

Obi-Wan Kenobi is a young apprentice Jedi knight under the tutelage of Qui-Gon Jinn when a mysterious Mandalorian suddenly joins them to protect the small planet of Naboo from a war against the battle droids. Anakin Skywalker, who will later father Luke Skywalker and become known as Darth Vader, is just a 9-year-old boy. When the Trade Federation cuts off all routes to the planet Naboo, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan are assigned to settle the matter.
