It has been three years since the war. For once and for many years, the world was at peace. Expect for the occasional Eggman attack, but that was nothing compared to the Sonic Team. All was well, untill... mysterious robbing occurs across the planet, ranging from jewels to machinery. As many Sonic fans are aware, Sonic Forces didn't live up to our expectations. Barebones, linear gameplay, overly forced "nostalgia", and a story that felt extremely half-baked. That's why I've decided to completely rewrite and revamp the story of Sonic Forces in the alternate take of the game. I've gone through the game's script and made some very heavy changes to improve upon the story. (gameplay is a whole other thing, I'll leave that to modders). If you wanna see what Sonic Forces COULD have been, then feel free to jump into this What If Story. DISCLAIMER: All the following is my own personal opinion/take. Therefore, none of this is canon, and you are free to your own interpretation of the game's story. Sonic and all related characters belong to Sega and Sonic Team.

(Please read and yeah i know the the title suck. don't judge this is my first story) I don't own a thing, no OC, no Prototypes, no art and pictures and no characters of Sega. In the story None of emeralds, power ups, or super forms, except the power ring, have be introduce, as in there never found and all power up are in two places in each dimension. The Power Ring can make a super form, it just take alot. Sonic's original dimension will have their own set of emeralds, Blaze's have her own, the same with Scourge Dimension they only have 7 set of anarchy Berly, not alot, only seven. The New dimension that Sonic will be going to will have all the power up, including, world rings, Excalibur, master emerald, separate set of super emerald, black Oxyn, ect. Also none of the main events happen. The freedom fight were basically stopping eggman and his large army of robot, big and small, with Mecha Sonic, who has proven to be one of the biggest problem to them but, manage him. The old cast (Sonic, Knuckles, Sally, Jet, OC, Prototypes, ect) cast are 17-20+. The younger cast( Cream, Tails, Prototypes, OC, ect) are 9-12. That clear up ages so there you go. Also this is a Freedom Fighters bashing and more, fanfiction. Scourge is good but, will be introduce later on in the story, and some chapter will be better and/or fix. This will be introduce OC's, Sega's characters, Sega's prototypes, and art which is none of mine's. Please enjoy the story and go easy on me this is my first fanfiction. ( I'll be call everyone dimension name by the emeralds,( Ex. Blaze's Sol dimension, Freedom Fighters Chaos Dimension, and Scourge's Berly Dimension) This is mature for blood and some language that'll be here and there. It will happen later on in the story this is not a oneshot

A new enemy is working alongside Eggman, and the unspeakable happens. Sonic has been defeated and seems to be considered dead. The world has been conquered by the Eggman Empire, and all seems bleak. Hope is lost. That is, until Sonic's friends give rise to the Resistance, avenging the loss of their friend and taking back the world. Will they succeed? Or will the world's only ticket to freedom be wiped out like their missing hero? Any pictures or videos used don't belong to me. All credit goes to their creator(s). Some incident has occurred...the world will never remain the same again. The badniks, the eggforces, the enemies that Sonic and his friends, practically everyone was fighting against from the very beginning, had suddenly took no orders from Eggman, probably because none of his machines even remembers him. With no one to command the machines, the machines all wander around and are forced to adapt to the environment and into the societies that feared and despised them. As this happens, some form of disease breaks out as these strange light cyan pollen like things starts to infest the whole Mobius, making any of the living organisms LITERALLY melt. The ones who are not affected by it are of course, the ones who can regenerate and the /machines/. A society where they are forced to work with the eggforces, or what they used to be to survive through an already melting world...like as if that's possible, right? Disclaimer: Since I am a new writer and new to the Sonic fandom still, I may write some of the characters inaccurately. I will try my best to put as much research into the characters as possible to aim for character accuracy. Due to that reason, do expect some slow updates as I want to give more care of this story as I do with the rest of mine. No ships or any sort of romance would be featured or added here due to me, myself as the writer is not comfortable writing that sort of topic. And of course, none of these characters (due to being an AU) rightfully belong to me, they belong to SEGA. These characters are just going to be altered versions of the originals. A few years have passed since the Resistance was able to foil Dr. Eggman's plan to conquer the world. Most of the soldiers had either embarked on new adventures or returned home after rebuilding all that was destroyed. The war had taken its toll on so many young minds. The haunting illusions became nightmares, driving former warriors to seek professional help. Now, the remaining members of the Resistance searched for the Phantom Ruby. A small handful of them wanted to locate their old adversary, Infinite the Jackal. They formed several search and rescue groups and sent them out in hopes of finding either of them. Only one was successful in locating the Phantom Ruby inside Dr. Eggman's rebuilt base where it was discovered that there was a body trapped inside the gem. The Resistance then resolved to retrieve the Phantom Ruby and save whoever was in it before the doctor could have the chance upon the realization that a certain jackal was trapped within. After being freed from the Phantom Ruby and it's control, Infinite decides to redeem himself by working for the Resistance regains his old identity. One day, guards from a secluded kingdom come and take him from Resistance HQ and he is once again held captive. Upon meeting the princess, he learns about a great tragedy that had happened recently and vows to warn the Resistance of another war coming. But what happens when the princess goes missing along with several Resistance fighters? Will old friendships be torn apart as new relationships form? Will Zero "Infinite" the Jackal be able to recover or will the Phantom Ruby completely take over his mind and body?

Infinite has surrendered himself to the Resistance. A surprisingly but major Victory in the war against the Eggman Empire. Pretty easy right?

With the War finally over, it would be a time to Celebrate and rebuild right?...Wrong, Mobius is already on the brink of collapse and Metal Sonic plus Infinite knew it's time to strike, since their enemies would never know what's about to happen to the world. After the events of the titular Sonic Mania Plus, before the events of Sonic Frontiers, Dr. Robotnik finds the phantom ruby and uses it to create a new weapon against Sonic and his team. Jules the Hedgehog is a prince who disappeared right after the end of a dark war. He was founded by Echidnas who were supposed to be "myths" and raised by the Knuckles Clan. And sooner or later, they realize that Jules is no ordinary hedgehog. He has the skin of an armadillo's shell, the strength of an elephant, the wisdom of an Echidna, and the power of a Chaos Emerald. The Echidnas would even dare to sometimes call him a "Living Chaos Emerald." The Knuckles Clan then grows suspicious if he might be the prophesied "The Messenger," a being promised to one of the most powerful beings in the world to prepare it for the arrival of the being on the mural in the Hidden Palace. As Jules grows up, eventually leaving Angel Island, taking his best friends with him, he begins to try to understand what might be his purpose, his true reason to exist.

All is peaceful in the world of Sonic the Hedgehog till Eggman comes up with a new plan to take over the world. Along with his plan also comes a new enemy, one who is able to challenge Sonic and his friends. After the first encounter with the new enemy, the world loses hope as everyone believes Sonic is gone. But when a hero falls, some new ones rise to the challenge. Join our heroes, Violet the Wolf, Nightly the mutated Cat, and Stitch, as they all work together to get the Mobian's world back from Eggman's clutches! Sonic Forces doesn't belong to me! Neither does Nightly, but she belongs to Littlekitty36 who collaborated with me to make this story possible! So check her out!

Sequel to Spirit of the Phantom Ruby (If you haven't read the first story, you better go and read it first or this plot will not make a whole lot of sense) Infinite the jackal finds himself in over his head when he agrees to join G.U.N.'s prisoner redemption program, the Foundation for Villain Redemption. Drama unfolds as a new enemy emerges under the disguise of a G.U.N. mandate, bringing chaos to Mobius and utilizing the Phantom Ruby's destructive illusions. Who is N.I.T.E.?
